I did hear about 2 departments where even the managers were payed notably less than a gas station clerk. Throw inflation into the mix and you'll make less and less with each year relative to what your pay is actually worth. For reference, I've worked for 3 other companies in 10 years, and those had roughly the same yearly review system. Everybody across the board gets what other companies use as a punishment raise 2%. Instead, you get a special lapel pin after 10 years and are subject to nothing else but the following raise system. The chance to redeem the low pay by rewarding loyalty is missed. The pay is below average for the area, very low compared to other casinos. Health benefits cost astronomically high relative to other jobs I've had in the area. Most other local companies match 1-1 up to 5%. If you leave within 5 years, they will reclaim X% of their match depending on the lengh of your tenure. But, the 401K is a joke, they match half of what you put in up to them matching up to 3% with you at 6%. Free lunch is cool, there are some discounts at local stores for work shoes, and the uniforms are free. Most pluses are weighed out by poor pay/benefits.
